From a LinkedIn search to a running campaign in ten minutes

You already know how to search LinkedIn. The extension turns the results page into a lead list, the builder turns the list into a sequence, and the campaign runs from your own account.

There are two ways to start a campaign in agaria. The first is to describe who you want to reach and let it find them. The second is to find them yourself, the way you already do, in a LinkedIn search, and hand the results over. This post is about the second way, because it is the fastest path from an idea to a first message.

Open LinkedIn and run a people search. Title, location, industry, whatever filters you use today. Sales Navigator works too, with its extra filters. Get to a results page you would be happy to message every person on.

That last part is the test. If the page has people you would skip, tighten the search before capturing it. A list is easier to shrink in LinkedIn than to clean later.

Step two: capture the page

With the agaria extension installed, the popup on a search results page shows the people on it and a campaign to add them to.

Bring a LinkedIn search into a campaign for research and review.

Pick an existing campaign or create a new one, and add the page. Go to the next page of results and do it again. Twenty-five people per page, as many pages as you want. Each person is added as a lead with their name, headline, and profile link, and agaria's research picks up from there: company, role, signals, and the reasoning for why they fit.

The same popup works on a single profile. Someone worth contacting that you stumbled on: one click adds them to a campaign.

Step three: the offer and the objective

A new campaign needs to know two more things before it can write anything: what you are offering and what you want to happen. The builder asks, one question at a time, with suggested answers taken from your website and your past campaigns.

Describe your audience in plain language, then refine the criteria.

Answer in a sentence each. "A tool that runs their outbound so a two-person sales team can do the work of six." "A twenty-minute call." That is enough. agaria drafts the sequence: a connection request, a message after acceptance and scheduled LinkedIn follow-ups. Every draft is written per person, from that person's research.

Step four: approve and let it run

The first leads and drafts appear for review. Approve the ones you like, turn away the rest. The extension sends from your LinkedIn account, within daily action limits, while your browser is open. Replies show up in the campaign, and meeting proposals show up on the meetings page.

From the search to the first send is about ten minutes, most of it spent reading the drafts. Which is the right place to spend it.

What to do on day two

Check the approval queue and the replies, then nothing. The campaign works through the list at the pace the quotas allow. A week in, read the four numbers and adjust one thing. The search you started with was a hypothesis; the replies tell you whether it was right.
